groovy tunes

Last year, around April, my brother and his wife got married in Tagaytay. The venue was great, the weather was nice, and the food was fantastic. But the thing that made it the funnest wedding I (and a few others) have ever been in was the music and the dancing.

Weddings do normally have after parties, but more often than not, people tend to shy away from the dance floor. But this was not the case for this wedding. Friends and relatives crowded the floor, dancing, jumping, and even singing the night away. All this I give credit to the band. The amazing thing about it was that this band was also the choir that sang at church as well as the group that provided music all through out the reception. Not bad, not bad at all!

With this in mind, Pia and I went and checked them during one of their live demos. And I must say, they are good. They're not the Adam Sandler wedding singer type. They're a lot more hip, much more versatile, and a whole lot of fun. So last week, we officially booked them. I guess, come December, we'll need to remind our guests to bring their dancing shoes. =)

Oh yes...lest I forget...they're called the Sentimental Groove. Grooooovy, aint it?!
